The U.S. government has issued a warning about a security flaw in smart locks made by Chirp Systems, affecting approximately 50,000 homes across the country. These locks contain hard-coded credentials that can be exploited to open them remotely. Despite being made aware of the issue in March 2021, Chirp Systems has not responded to the concerns.
